Our personal adventure in West Deptford, NJ, and Atlantic City for the night in August 2021.
Here's a little personal vlog we did in our new adventure visiting Ashley's abode where she grew up. We were going on vacation to Cooperstown, New York, and added a family detour and road trip into the mix.
West Deptford is literally right over the main bridge from the Philidelphia airport.
It's our 2nd visit and this time we rented a sweet red Kia and an Airbnb close to all her family members.
To make this vlog more interesting here are some places worth going in West Deptford and it's not a whole lot —but still fun.
Some spots we went to that were fun:
A good brewery called Eight & Sand Beer Co. 1003 N Evergreen Ave, Woodbury, NJ 08096 LEARN MORE
A cool neighborhood and upscale downtown called Haddonfield.
We ate a nice outside Italian restaurant called Verona Ristorante 141 Kings Hwy E, Haddonfield, NJ 08033 LEARN MORE
Stewart Park, Woodbury, NJ 08096 Pretty lake and lots of kayakers fishing.
We had a great lunch and good food, weird local wine only, Blue Plate, 47 S Main St, Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 LEARN MORE
We didn't make it on our trip but the famous Pat and Gino's cheesesteaks are 20 minutes away, over the bridge, into Philidelphia. Will do that on our next trip.
We also did a one-day trip with Ashley's dad and girlfriend an hour east to Atlantic City, New Jersey. We booked a room online at the Tropicana, 2831 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401, CLICK HERE. We booked it here because it has direct access to the beach and into their famous boardwalk. Do your research because this hotel was fun but needs some updating in many areas, but that's what you get with the older hotels.
Hope you enjoyed the video and pictures. Finishing part 2 next or look for Cooperstown, New York part 2.
Thanks.
